Why should you attend?
- You are the best advocate for your trails, and your voice matters!
- The efforts of Trails Advocacy Week participants over the years have clearly contributed to increased funding and awareness for many trails and the National Trails System.
- Trails Advocacy Week helps increase the credibility and capabilities of trail organizations and advocates through strengthened relationships with congressional and federal agency staff.
- Network with trail leaders from around the country about critical trail funding and policy issues.
- Organizations that have participated consistently over several years and with more than one person attending have benefited enormously.
- Every conceivable cause has its advocates. If Congress doesn't hear from you, other interests will influence priorities and gain funding and support that should go to trails.
