SUMMARY:Buckeye Trail\, Wayne National Forest
DESCRIPTION:CANCELLED DUE TO COVID-19:\nVolunteers will join the Buckeye Trail Crew as they head into Wayne National Forest to relocate the BT and North Country National Scenic Trail connecting the historic Village of Shawnee through rugged terrain to the Upstream Rock Run reclamation project. Join us to expand and improve the trail’s offerings to residents and visitors to the Buckeye Trail Town through the scenic hills of Appalachian Ohio’s Little Cities of Black Diamonds region. We will be digging the trail tread with hand tools\, including pulaskis\, mcleods\, mattocks\, etc. Bring a day pack and ensure you can have it stocked before we enter the trail\, lunch will be on the trail\, dress for the weather. The chuckwagon will provide food and bags to bring such onto the trail.
