American Hiking Joins 85 Organizations in Support of FY25 Funding to preserve environmental funding in annual appropriations
bills for Fiscal Year 2025 (FY25) and to ensure that all funding enacted by Congress is faithfully executed, including the salaries of all
career civil servants charged with protecting our environment and our health.

On February 28, American Hiking Society joined a letter signed on behalf of 495 organizations calling on Congress to immediately reverse the terminations of 5,700 federal land management employees and halt any further workforce reductions to our public land management agencies.
