Will your company match your volunteer donation?
Did you know many companies offer a matching gift program to make a bigger philanthropic impact among their employees? You may be able to double, or even triple, your generous contribution to American Hiking Society! If you pay a Volunteer Vacation registration fee of $425, and have the gift matched, $850 could be donated to American Hiking Society.
Many companies will also match your travel expenses for volunteer work. That's right, airfare to your next Volunteer Vacation could be matched by your employer. And some companies will even match retirees and spouses! Many companies will also reward employees for volunteer work by providing paid leave to volunteer and other incentives. Contributions of any amount help us protect and conserve America's public lands.
How to Participate
To see if your employer offers a matching gift program and to obtain the details on how to participate, please enter your employer's name in the Employer Search below. *Please note that some companies match contributions that have been made in the last 12 months, so you can retroactively match your donation.*
Check for a Match
If your gift is eligible for a match, then complete the appropriate process to request a matching gift from your employer. Some employers require you to print, fill out, and mail a request form to us (our tax ID/EIN is 51-0211993), while others use an online form.
If your employer requires a form, you can include it when you mail in your donation – or if you have already made a donation or paid your registration fee through the mail, online or by phone, you can mail your form to:
