We work with Congress, Federal agencies, and partners on policy issues and legislation to ensure funding for trails, preservation of natural areas, and protection of the hiking experience.

Volunteer

AHS launches NextGen Trail Leader Program

AHS is excited to announce the first class of NextGen Trail Leaders who will be the voice of young hikers and speak out to elected officials and the public on the need to protect public lands and to expand and preserve trail access.
